nicearea Posted September 2, 2005 Share Posted September 2, 2005 i'll start from the begining i installed osx with the test3 dvd work great reboot and it stalled so reboot with -v and i got waiting for root device so i looked around found a post that said to replace the extension folder with the one of the darwin install cd so thats what did and it worked got in to osx had some errors i expected them did the sudo chown -R root.wheelto get the kexts installed right now i can only boot with -f if i boot with -v i get kdp_poll: no debuger device i have attached a screen shot can someone please help me Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1778-waiting-for-debugger/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

I use this version [Link removed to comply with DMCA]. Bootup the DVD and got the same error. Can you give me the full name of the patch I should download? By the way, I don't even know how to add the patch in the DVD disc.
