After reading the forums and doing some research on Google this is what I have come up with. Intel Core i7-920 DDR3 i7 6GB Kit 1600 G.SkillC9 Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 ATI 4850 1GB Sapphire Coolermaster RC-690K 3.5" WD Raptor 36GB 16MB (work files, scratch disk) 700W Seasonic M12 And 3 x 7200 SATA hardrives from my current pc. I will be using this mostly for the Adobe CS4 products and for games (dual booted). Any recommendations or thoughts would be great. Cheers! rundll32 Posted August 2, 2009 Share Posted August 2, 2009 Somewhere on this forum there are instructions fot buidling a Hackintosh with the same hardware that you mention. My friend made it, and I help him with instalation. Anyway, you will be extremly happy to C 8 cores working, and video production is a great thing to do on it. Same as 3D renders and so on. Great choice! And yes, read all instructions for MAc os install carefully! Or you will spend 3 days of trying, just becose you are not read all instructions! Like I do.
