I have an Intel iMac from December 2006. In very good condition, have never once had a problem with it till today.

My wireless internet wasn't working, so I decided to turn off my computer and turn it back on to see if that would fix the problem. Well, was that a bad idea.

I can hear the start up noise and the fan when I restart but the screen is just completely white. I've been looking at forums online and tried restarting by holding down ALT+CNTRL+P+R and it made the start up noise again, but still a blank screen. I also tried holding just ALT. I unplugged the computer (no other plugs then the power have been plugged into it the whole time) for 10 minutes, and still a blank screen.

I am getting very anxious and nervous about my harddrive. I do not have back up, or money for a new computer.

Does anyone have any advice for me?!

I will appreciate anything I hear!!

Thank you.
