GA31-ES2C - No AHCI ?

Hello.

I have retail 10.5.7 installed on a Gigabyte GA31-ES2C motherboard (g31 + ICH7 chipset). I have enabeled in BIOS ENHANCED mode for SATA but no matter what I do , and what kext I use, System Profiler does not recognise the SATA controller in AHCI mode. All I get is : Serial-ATA Bus: , then nothing.

LSPCI reports : Intel Corporation 82801GB/GR/GH (ICH7 Family) SATA IDE Controller [8086:27c0] , and in vanilla AppleAHCIPort.kext plist I found 27c08086 under ICH7-M AHCI Controller.

 

system log tells me at boot time :

Maybe owners of Gigabyte GA31-ES2L , can give me a hint , since it's basicly the same mobo - minus the gigabit lan.
