Don Luca Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 Hi, I've got a problem with Blizzard installers (Diablo II, World of Warcraft)... when I launch the installer it loads, I can hear the music in background, but it doesn' show anything... i mean... there are no windows opened, but i can see in my dock that it is loaded and running... I experienced this with both my Radeon 9600 (QE,CI & OpenGL) as well as with GMA900 (QE/CI & OpenGL). I'm running 10.4.6 JaS. I already tried enabling/disabling BeamSync and Quartz2dExtreme, but with no luck. Any suggestion? Anyone having the same problem? rogabean Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 Interesting. On my ATI Radeon 7500 and my GMA950 the installers come up fine. Heck with my old ATI Rage 128 the World of Warcraft installer came up. I'm not sure where you would start to look first on this issue though as I've not heard anyone having a similiar issue. Have you noticed anything else odd about the system? Don Luca Posted May 19, 2006 Author Share Posted May 19, 2006 strangely, the Starcraft installer worked for me... i believe it's because Starcraft installer is older than Diobalo's and WoW's... By the way... I tried also launching it through terminal but all seems fine... i mean no errors are reported. well, if anyone knows some workaround, please tell me. Thanks in advance.
