04ayasin
Hi Im new to this forum, Ive been trying for about a week to install iAtkos on my PC. Im trying to dual boot it with vista home premium. I seem to be having trouble choosing the right options in customize. I installed iAtkos using chameleon v1 and after reboot booted up using -v. I get to the following line before it stops. NTFS volume name RECOVERY, version 3.1. after this I get line going across the screen and see the coloured wheel spinning, but only in these few lines and the image is split up. I have two lines at the bottom and two at the top. The text from booting using -v is still in the background. I have an image of what I mean. I also have a partition called RECOVERY on my hard drive. Another thing I noticed is I also get a few lines saying AZAL: family specific matching fails. I get this line 6 times. I am running dual monitors and get two different pictures on each my main monitor has the text the other monitor is covered in grey and black squares. Could using dual monitors affect the install? Ive tried many different combos in customize this is the closest I have gotten. Here are the options I chose: Main system Chameleon v1 Extra dir DSDT Apple Decryptor Kernel 9.7.0 ACPI Disabler OHR Remove TyMCE VGA ATI SATA/IDE- AHCI, Jmicron, Intel, ATI, and the one recommended with ATI Voodoo HDA Network - wireless Post install Here are my computers specifications: Windows Vista Home Premium Dell Inspiron 545s ACPI x86 Based PC 750GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive ATI Raedon 4350 HD DVD RW SATA drive 2 Intel storage SATA controllers no PS/2 ports Belkin N wireless USB adapter Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz Realtek HD audio Here are a few BIOS settings that may help: SATA = IDE ACPI suspend mode = S3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/177531-iatkos-v7-dell-inspiron-545s/ Share on other sites
