luni Posted July 31, 2009 Share Posted July 31, 2009 Hi all, i'm looking for a dual boot xp/osx86 on my notebook Samsung Q70 i'm trying the last iDeneb release,any suggestion considering configuration in signature? i've read that hardest stuff could be the wireless card and the sleep/sospension possibilities... and suggestion about bootloader Chamaleon 2 RC2?? thanks in advance! luni Posted July 31, 2009 Author Share Posted July 31, 2009 some news...installation gone fine but: ethernet not recognised with appleyukon2 (strange!) wireless not recognised (it seems there aren't drivers for intel 3945ABG wireless lan) sleep doesn't works the only way to boot is with the flag cpus=1 i've installed with: - chamaleon2 RC2 boot loader - dsdt patched - default vanilla kernel 9.7.0 how to solve ethernet problem e most of all how to use both cpu cores?? thanks! Im trying on the same laptop! ciao hi! to solve the ethernet problem just install the kext in attachments (kext helper is needed to install)... and to boot with both cores i've noticed that you can do that with voodoo kernel insted of the vanilla one...
