Hello all,

I have tried searching around and am unable to find a solution for the two issues I am having since upgrading to Vista x64. I did a fresh install with a SP1 retail disk, updated to SP2 and then attempted to install the Bootcamp drivers from my Apple disks. I then found out that apple decided that Macbooks shouldn't be running 64bit OSes and didn't include the 64bit bootcamp drivers on my disk. I read a few articles on this and went over to my favorite bay to get a copy of the 64 bit bootcamp disk. After installing that disk (which was the 2.0 version) I updated to the 2.1 and installed the Multitouch trackpad update from apple. I then updated my display and chipset drivers via nVidia's website (186.3 video and 20.12 chipset package). Figuring I was completely up to date I rebooted, got the apple chime and went back into vista, however no audio. I fiddled around for a while, and even reinstalled the realtek package from the 64 bit folder on the disk, however still no audio.

My second issue is that my secondary tap doesn't work for right click in Vista. I also noticed that in the bootcamp menu it doesn't even have a mouse tab.

If any of you could kindly point me in the way of some reading material as to where I could get my touchpad 2nd finger click working, and (more importantly) my audio I would be grateful.

Cheers

Cameron

Looks like I posted too soon, by following the steps outlined http://www.andrewgrant.org/2008/11/04/vist...8-solution.html I was able to get my macbook working with the included CD. Definitely a good find!
