Mstrtwstr Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 Aiight. I will preface this by saying, I'm a total newb, I have no idea what to do at this point I have 2 harddrives. The first one has Windows Vista, and Ubuntu linux on it. I use the GRUB bootloader, and have no problems. The second drive has iPC OSx86 10.5.6 patched to PPF5. I have yet to actually boot into it. I figured maybe i could boot into the second harddrive from the BIOS, but all i get in the long run is boot:error. What did I do wrong? How can i fix it? I dunno if it helps or not, but here are my specs: Dell Studio 1735 Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 (2.53Ghz) 3 GB DDR2 800Mhz ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650 256MB Intel High Definition Audio Backlit keyboard (2) 320 GB WD SATA HDD's Dell Bluetooth 370 Dell Wireless-N 1510 Broadcom Gb Ethernet Authentec Fingerprint scanner Integrated Webcam Thanks in advance:-) ~eric Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/177197-total-newb-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
