:Dok, so here i am, its 2.41 AM here, i want to go to bed, but not before finally getting inn the right path to install OS X in my almost brand new PC, my soon to become iPC.

I have a dell 1545, the new ones.

Intel C2D T6400 @ 2.00 GHZ

Hard Drive SATA 320 GB @ 5400RPM

2GB of Ram DDR2

Intel G45 integrated chipset (pretty crappy, huh?)

since i have the G45 i must have a X4500HD (its hard to write when youre tired)

an integrated webcam, AFAIK it should be recongnized out of the box.

card reader, Broadcom 4312.

pretty much like that.

I once tried installing iAtkos, but it didnt boot fine.

i heard that ideneb might work, but not quite sure.

Could you please help me, im really in need!

:thumbsup_anim:ok, so here i am, its 2.41 AM here, i want to go to bed, but not before finally getting inn the right path to install OS X in my almost brand new PC, my soon to become iPC....

I bought the OS Fresh at a store, installed it with a boot loader, loaded the drivers for the 1525 (don't think this changed anything) then loaded the broadcom driver for wireless network (this actually worked) then applied the patch 10.5.8, and after that i had to reload the broadcom driver (kext).

The point is everything seems to work on this model except:

1. Display Resolution (Set to 1024 x 768) (Aspect Ratio Sucks!)

2. Audio Driver (If you try to play any sound the computer will hang

3. Screen wont turn off as expected after inactivity, the screen freezes but remains, thus burning the screen

This is my last status. Anyone can help?

:offtopic::)

i have the exact same dell. i used iAtkos v7dvd. it works. if you cant boot it, make sure you run the checksum of the iso. also there are boot flags you can change.

if you get the iAtkos dvd booting then you are on your way. but.. keep in mind that you will not have audio or 1366x768 resolution. there are tutorials for the audio. the 1366x768 resolution is more complicated. you will need linux installed on a partition of your drive also.

i recommend hd0,1 for linux

hd0,2 for leopard

hd0,3 for windows

hd0,4 for storage

search for deviato's tutorial. it helped me a lot.
