patb99
I'm a noob with pc's did not even know how to change the bios and select cd/dvd as a startup until now. I installed the iatokos V7 Upon stratup the computer asks to press any key to go to the options THen a green frog appears and the aple sign I hit the space bar a few times and it begins to boot the welcome to osx 10.5.7 However I am stuck at the "Your keyboard cannot be identified . . .) Even tried a apple usb keyboard but only the mouse worked. How do I get past this? Did I install correctly? I just inserted the disc, booted from it and installed. (did not select the customize options) Tried it again, and this time i was able to click ok and "Skip" the keyboard identification as it was not identifiable. Now the apple keyboard is working and I am going through the rest of the "Welcome" setup It is now installed, however I have to have an external apple usb keyboard and mouse plugged in as the e1705 is not receognized System preference will not load? patb99
After a few reboot's all is working better. I installed the kexts from this thread to get the trackpad working: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=141504 but now the computer hangs at the apple logo upon reboot and does not go any further.
