ihib
Hello everyone, I downloaded Hackintosh 10.5.6 and I was hoping to run it on my HP laptop but the hackintosk disk utility don't see my hard drive. My laptop is HP pavillion dv9612ca, it has two sata harddrives but i can't see any of them. It seems like something is wrong with the sata controller. Unfortunately my laptop dont have an AHCI mode that can be enabled from the BIOS setup. I am completely new to this and would really appreciate it if someone can help. Thanks in advance. willo13b
I'm having the same problem with iDeneb v1.5. Had to boot iDeneb with -x for it to actually run when I get to the install screen I can't see any of my two SATA drives on AHCI mode. Disk utility won't see them either. The two drives were part of a raid 0 array. I deleted the array now running each separately on AHCI. Mobo is a ga-ma790x-ud4p with the SB750 amd south bridge. Do I need to "clean" the drives (so the show all unallocated space)? Format as HFS+ prior to installing iDeneb? Sprinkle some magic dust on them? Sorry to steal the thread but didn't like to create a new one when someone is having a similar problem. Thanks for all the help!
