TJ-W
Hi, I'm new hear and have just successfully installed OSX on my PC. But I'm afraid I'm not as technically knowledged as you guys on here. Basically I wanted OSX so I could use other music production software that I can't run on Windows. My first problem is my soundcard, it's a Yamaha SW1000XG and I don't know how to install it. I download the drivers as an SEA file, but how do I open/run the SEA file? I tried opening it (as I believe it is self extracting) but it doesn't work Please help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17699-yamaha-sw1000xg/ Share on other sites
Taruga
Hi, I have the same card but I believe that there are no drivers for os X, only for os 9 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17699-yamaha-sw1000xg/#findComment-114686 Share on other sites
TJ-W
Gutted Do you think they'll ever release compatible drivers? If not I might have to get a USB Audio Inteface, do you think that would work with OS X? Taruga
All i´ve read so far tells me that Yamaha will not suport this card for os X. It´s a shame, Yamaha SW1000 is a very powerfull card. Don´t have answers to your question Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17699-yamaha-sw1000xg/#findComment-115405 Share on other sites
