I have a no name bluetooth dongle, it worked on several PCs with no problems, and works on a Leopard 10.5.2 installation (even stereo headsets). On my current production Hack OS conf (see signature, it's 10.5.7 install) BT does not work with any device, EXCEPT Apple wireless keyboard. Whenever I try to connect to the phone or tablet, it finds them, shows their MAC addresses (no names though) but refuses to go further, giving the error "There was an error connecting to this device". BT Assistant also says it couldn't find any services on the device. Of course they are all turned on and set to be discoverable.

That all seems very strange to me. I type this from vanilla wireless keyboard, which was found by the system with little problem right after installation.

Would be grateful for any help.
