p_bateman Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Hatte vorher ein Pentium 4 mit ICH6 Chipsatz und demnach einen Voodoo-Kernel 9.50 mit Chameleon-Bootloader und SM-Bios . Nun hab ich einen Core 2 Duo mit dem Vanilla-Kernel 9.60 und noch immer Chameleon von IPC 10.5.6 am laufen. Kann ich Nachträglich alles auf EFI-Bootloader umbauen? Ist das ein großer Aufwand und ist es eher ein kosmetischer Aspekt, wie bei "Über diesen Mac"? Bei Modell Idendifizierung steht bei mir "System-Produkt". Ich bin der Meinung das es Chameleon oder einen EFI-Bootloader gibt, glaube zumindest bei einer Installation verschiedene gesehen zu haben. Bei der IPC 10.5.6 steht "Alternate Bootloaders" und da stehen nur Chameleon zur Auswahl. Also ich dachte, wenn nichts angehackt wird installiert er einen Vanilla-Kernel kompatiblen Bootloader. Wie kann ich denn jetzt im Nachhinein alles für den Vanilla-Kernel kompatibel machen? Oder kann ich auch meinen Chameleon mit SMBios und DSDT-Patch drauflassen? Unter dem Voodoo-Kernel 9.50 erkannte er mein Rechner als MacPro jetzt, mit Vanilla nur als "System Product".
