Anyone tried running OSX on the new fanless Intel D945GSEJT motherboard?

Looks like its using similar components to all the netbooks, should work, shouldn't it?

OT: Seems like a very nice motherboard coupled with this very small chassis: MiniPC HAHE-MC-B, found some pics of that combo here

Hi,

it works with iAtkos v7.

I've installed no video driver, so out of the box it works only with 1024x768 and no QE/CI.

After the update to 10.5.8 i've patched the AppleIntelGMA950.kext and AppleIntelIntergratedFramebuffer.kext from the 10.5.8 update:

With the Hex-Editor i've replaced all "86 80 A2 27" with "86 80 AE 27" (all hex) in the AppleIntelGMA950- and AppleIntelIntergratedFramebuffer-file inside the kexts. Also changed the Info.plists to match the right IDs (27AE instead of 27A2).

Now i have QE/CI and all possible resolutions.

S3 (Suspend to RAM) works.

The average power consumption (idle) with a WD10EADS is 16 W (12 V, 1.33 A), measured with my lab power supply.

So long,

MrFX

I have downloaded the iatkos v7 and when installing it, it hangs trying to do some ehci usb stuff. Im using an IDE to usb converter for the CDrom im installing from. Could this be the problem? Should i hardwire a CDRom in and then shut off all legacy USB support? i read that that could be the problem.

Thanks

I swapped the drive out for a hard wired sata cdrom and the install goes but stops about 80% of the way. Can you list what you did to the Customize area in the setup to get it to work?

Thanks.
