iDeneb 10.5.6-7 w/ P5Q (1 Crash per day)

Greetings,

 

I'm running iDeneb since 10.5.6 (v1.4 DVD) ; i've updated to 10.5.7 recently without any problem. Since the initial installation (10.5.6), i've experienced various minor problems ; since the update to 10.5.7, I got only one problem (the update fixed all the other minor problems) ; the computer STILL always crash at least 1 time per day.

 

The computer always crash 1 time during business hours when i'm working on it (coding, design, photoshop, illustrator) and each night when idling. I wake up the morning and I need to reset the computer (always).

 

I got the latest bios firmware for MACOSX (1611) on P5Q (Not pro, no E, only P5Q) Quad Core Q6600, 8GB DDR2 800Mhz Kingston, 1 WD 750GB, 1 WD 500GB, nVidia 8800GTS (640MB Version), Antec PSU 500W. I didn't set anything in the bios, no overcloaking, everything is set to default or auto.

 

I've googled, search, read and read and read ; it seems i'm the only one having this problem with this type of setup.

 

If anybody have a suggestion, comments or question, go ahead

This morning I woke up, computer was freezed again ; i rebooted and BOOM! "Kernel Panic" at the boot process. I tryed everything ; nothing work.

 

So now i'm trying to install IPC 10.5.6 Final ; work great on first install!!!

 

I'll test drive this new install

Well, I must say IPC kick asses!!!! No kernel panic, all works great, had problem with sound only ; now fixed with voodooHDA, system profiler working, about this mac ok, video ok, network 100% ok, sleep ok, installed only 2 ktext since.... EVERYTHING FINE!

 

P5Q w/ IPC is the best at this time for me!!!
