redunion Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=614373 There is my system, I tried to install iDeneb v1.4 a few minutes ago, and I ran into a few problems the most prevalent that kept showing was SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, SENSE_KEY =0X03,ASC=0X11,ASCQ=0X05 and localhost diskarbitraiond[44]:unable to mount |dev|disk1s1 (status code 0x00000047) I need to know what I am doing wrong, and had to fix my boot manager before I could get back into Windows 7, and now I hope I can get my other partition for XP back Break down of my system Primary OS: Win 7 Back Up OS: Win XP Processor: Amd Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.7 GHZ overclocked to 2.8 GHZ Brisbane Core Memory: 4 GB DDR2 PC2 6400 GPU: XFX 9600 GS0 (8800 GS) 768 MB DDR2 Mobo: ECS A780GM-A ChipSet: AMD 780 G HDD: WD 500 GB Partitioned into Drive C: Win 7 308 GB 165GB free Drive D: Win XP 127 GB, 28.4 GB free Drive J: No OS, set aside for OSX, 30 GB I'm off to mess with the bios settings, so if anyone can help please do tell me what I am doing wrong. redunion Posted July 27, 2009 Author Share Posted July 27, 2009 Alright done messing around with it, anyone know what my problems seem to be. Cautious of trying it again, don't like taking the chance of losing my Win 7 install. My XP install lost it's boot manager, so I can't get to it, even with BCD I think.
