serstickman
3.4 ghz Intel CPU (single core) 2.5 gigs ram intel 945 Motherboard (I think it's a 945 with AGP) 250 gig Maxtor ATA (not SATA) HD Geforce 7600GT 512 megs of ram Either Audigy 2 SB sound card or on board sound (which ever will work) Netgear WG111T Wireless USB adapter Onboard Lan (realtek I think) I tried using the Boot-123 method with my Retail Leopard but learned quickly my hardware isn't new enough for that to work. I've read a lot of stuff on installing iPC in these forums and iPC seemed like the best destro to try. Outside of the Voodoo Kernal, what drivers/settings should I select to make this install and run correctly? serstickman
Installed the OS several times now, using many different chipset combos. Each time it hangs, saying it's waiting for the root device. I'm gonna assume this is a chipset issue. The OS does install without issue. Kinda at a loss here.
