I had an installation of a script which I wrote files to as modifications and when it came time to upgrade the script as a new version was released, I dragged the new files over and clicked Replace All. Finder deleted the ADDITIONAL files that I had written myself that did not exist in the newer package! Why!!! Is this undoable? What a shame.. If this is normal behavior, Finder sucks... Do you understand what happened? It like deleted all directories which it had to replace and just added the other files!!! This is really stupid.
