But I have a new problem: My mouse and my keyboard aren't no longer work after 10 min aprox. Can anyone help me, please? Thanks I have found a solution: Choose PS/2 Apple and ACPI drivers But I have a new problem: OSX doesn't recognize my network card (Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet Controller) and my sound card either (Creative SB X-Fi). Can anyone help me, please? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/176462-still-waiting-for-root-device/#findComment-1210476 Share on other sites
afinales
I have found a solution: You can download Atheros 8121/8113 driver (AttansicL1eEthernet.kext) from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t140907.html and install with kexthelper. But I still have the second problem: OSX doesn't recognize my sound card either (Creative SB X-Fi). Can anyone help me, please? imacken
You won't get the X-Fi working. Doesn't your MB have a built-in audio chip? I use my X-Fi in Windows and the built-in ALC chip for OSX. I just disable the HDA in Windows. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/176462-still-waiting-for-root-device/#findComment-1210682 Share on other sites
afinales
Great idea, thanks I have installed another sound card too (Creative Sound Blaster Live 5.1), but it doesn't sound well with all my sound hardware: when I'm listening music for more than 1 min, it starts to sound distorted I will wait to get X-Fi mac drivers...
