Hi guys!

 

I just wanna share my story about a successfull installation of Leopard on a Shuttle XPC K48.

 

Computer Configuration:

Shuttle XPC K48

*Intel 945G + ICH7

*Intel E6600 Core2Duo

*2x 1 GB Ram<br>Intel GMA 950 (Shared)

*Realtek ALC 662 Audio

*SATA Samsung HDD 750 GB

*SATA Lite-On DVD-Burner

Using a Leopard Distro iATKOS v7 (Leopard 10.5.7)

 

  • Choose installation options:
    *Chameleon 2.0 Bootloader
    *Intel Grafics for 950
    *VoodooHDA Audio Driver
    *Voodoo 9.5.7 Kernel
    *Marvell Ethernet Driver

 

So far everything is working.. i try to set up pararells/vmware fusion and let you know if it works!

Did your install ever survive the 10.5.8 auto update? (Mine didn't :-( )

Anyone here who had success with a 10.6 update on K45/K48? I tried several how-to's, but didn't even come into a 10.6 boot screen (KP) ...

10.5.4 and every update until 10.5.8 was no problem.
