RobD Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 On any file on any drive, Finder crashes whenever I want change the sharing & permissions : Get Info > Sharing & Permissions (at the bottom) > click on lock > password > on attempting to select any user account, Finder crashes and relaunches. robocop2 Posted March 19, 2010 Share Posted March 19, 2010 Same problem here. Temporary solution is changing the language in System Preferences to English. After that, Open Finder-Preferences so it crash and reloads in English, so now you can access to file properties, change owners and so on. It would be fantastic if someone manages a permanent solution so we could open finder preferences in our language. Hope this helps you.
