omeganemesis28
I'm on an XPS M1710 laptop. I installed it via Kalyway OSX, 10.5.2 The OS was working peachy, everything ran good. Until I needed to update the OS to whatever the latest updates are. I ~needed~ to. So I did. While using iAtkos on my desktop, I was update to update the OS just fine. For some reason, on my laptop, it won't work. I updated it, and it crashed. I had to fix the boot manager for Vista which I'm dualbooting in order to get back into OSX. My 2nd time trying to update, and the system told me to shut down. It say, mid update, "Please press the power button to shut down". I had no other choice. Now, when I try to boot - I get the same message mid-boot. When I do -v, it just stops after loading a ton of stuff. Here is some of the last stuff. 64 bit mode enabled HPET enabled enabling INTEL features Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.0 standard timeslicing quantum is 10000 us vm_page_bootstrap: 510124 free pages and 14164 pages wired. mig_table_max_displ = 79 HIT: 2 cores per package; 2 logical cpus per package Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernal and com.apple.kpi components; use 1 style.
