nop2
I found several versions of the AppleAC97Audio.kext extension; some work and some don't. Who maintains this kext? Is it an apple driver? Where can I find the latest version? Has anyone managed to get SPDIF to work with it? Thanks. nop2
after a bit of searching, it looks like it is originally an Apple driver. I found the source code too from Apple's site. After compiling it and trying it out, I only get "line out" as audio outputs, whereas the one I have from the osx86 community shows "SPDIF" in addition to "line out". So, it looks like the source was modified by someone to support SPDIF for certain chips. Anyone know where I can get the modified source code of that driver? Also, anyone know who is the person who patched it to make it work?
