Installation on MSI Laptop ideneb

Hi all,

 

I recently purchased a new msi laptop and have been trying to get to osx to boot, the install itself works. Im using ideneb v1.4 10.5.6. Anyways Ive searched the forums for an answer and none of the soloutions have resolved my problems.

 

When booting for the first time after the install I hang up at:

"Mac framework successfully initialized

Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers"

 

This seems to be a pretty common error but I cant seem to get around it with any of the fixes I've found on this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If anyone has some more specific information on the chipset PM45 that would also be helpful. I cant find specs on it anywhere.

hey mate dont lose hope. you only need to patch your dsdt and everything is sweet. i myself own an msi laptop and had the very same issues (GT725 Qx9300 8gb ram GT9600m)

 

all i need to fix is the sound (intel ich9r-m) and to get the Intel 5300 abgn wireless to go along with the cardreader,

Okay thanks for the advice. Could you give me a little more information on how you would go about doing this or point me in the direction of a guide you used?
