bearses
Well, I'm always running around, so I finally gave in and am buying a notebook. Or a netbook to be more accurate. After some research, the acer aspire one seems to be the best budget choice for going hackintosh. However, I'm stuck between the 150, and the 751 the 150 has better support, seeing as it's older and there's osx86 tutorials for it all over the internet, but the 751 seems to be more appealing with the 2gb ram, and bigger screen. On the other hand, the 751 has a 1.3 ghz processor instead of the 150's 1.6ghz. Does that make a big difference? Basically, I'm wondering if the hardware for the 751 (check the link) is confirmed working, and more importantly, what would you go with? draegloth
No, the 751h is not compatible yet. The sata controller doesn't work with existing kexts be able to install easily. I think someone hacked one of the existing kexts to work, but it's not a simple process. I'd go with the 150 if you must get a netbook. michaeljr10wv
Why not get a D250? I have Leopard installed and it runs GREAT! WIFI is working, but no wired.
