beefpitas
Anyone tried hooking up a USB pre (like a mic mate, or icicle) to an ipod touch or iphone? It seems like they don't require any special drivers. and i would think that if you can attach "mikey" to the data port on the ipod, you could attach a USB pre. This would be nice for pro audio applications like the RTA apps, and would allow you to use a decent microphone for them. Also, if any one wants to port a version of yamaha studio manager or smaart live for the iphone, i think you would make a lot of money. as most audio engineers have iphones. i've heard there is a version for windows based phones, i want to say the blakberry or something. btw, i know nothing about programming.
