mysticwhiskey
Hi All, A while ago I installed 10.4.5 (Universal) without any difficulty, but then decided on a whim to do a fresh install of 10.4.6 (JaS) via VMWare. The installation appeared to go well. I then booted native and got to the initial setup stage, where one selects nationality, transfer options, etc. My problem is that when I get to the "Select Your Keyboard" screen, and I select any option (eg US keyboard layout) and click "Continue", the "Continue" button then gets disabled, and I can go no further. It happens no matter what keyboard layout I choose. Anyone had this problem and resolved it? I tried both USB and PS/2 keyboards, but only PS/2 is recognised. I have tried disabling legacy USB support in the BIOS, but with no success. The problem also happens when booting into OSX via VMWare (ie non-native mode). My hardware specs: CPU: Intel Pentium D 820 Mobo: Asus P5VDC-MX Video: ATi Radeon 9200 Ram: 1Gb DDR2 (533Mhz) Cheers, Ryan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17591-select-your-keyboard-button-diabled/ Share on other sites
