hi all,

 

i want to install macOS on vmware. in verbose mode, it gives some error but can manage to start installation. however, on the destination selection menu it doesn't show me any partition and i can't continue.ss of verbose mode and destination menu is attached. what could be the problem?

 

my settings are:

windows7 build 7100 x64 on ep45-ds3r & C2D e8400

i chosed freebsd 64bit on vmware and set per-allocated 8gb ide hdd.

Well, if you select IDE HD Drive, i suggest you to try another virtualization program or another distro. But, if you really wanna to take a good look, take another harddrive and make the real thing. XD. Sorry if i dind't help to much, but, i prefer install in the hd. VM never work for me using OSX. Note: using Windows in my rig, VMWare and try to make a VM Machine, can't make it. Using the same DVD and try ti install directly: sucess.

i don't have any free hdd and i don't wanna mess things up. that's why i wanted vm. by the way i'm using kalyway 10.5.1. can i install/unistall it directly without ruin my windows
