join join
I've got this laptop too. The camera doesn't work well with every software. For instance it won't work in iChat or in System Preferences. What you should do first is to download a driver called "SONiX USB 2.0 PC Camera Driver OSX 1.01.0001" from somewhere (I can't upload it now but you'll find it very quickly by going to the SONiX website). Once that is installed, a program called "Webcam Monitor" will appear on your desktop. Launch it and go to the preferences menu, into the tab "Sources" (if I remember) and you'll see that it works. I recommend you to install CamTwist as well and to play with the options to get it working in some programs. This isn't perfect but it can work. As I see you are one of the few people having this laptop, the compatibility is excellent but i'm still unhappy with a little problem (sometimes, a random application turns into a CPU hog, and then every application launched after it becomes CPU-intensive, and the only solution is to reboot). I will ask for help in another section. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175766-toshiba-p200-157/#findComment-1258891 Share on other sites
