Hey everyone. I just finished getting my Hackintosh all set up. Everything works like a dream, except for my HDD. I have my main OS drive, which works fine. I then have my secondary 1TB drive, SATA, that is giving me the issues. Anytime I go to play music off of it, or anything at all, it seems to have to spin up EVERYTIME. Sometimes it'll stay up for a while, othertimes it'll do it randomly in the middle of songs.

I know for a fact that the HDD is working fine, because I've tested it in my XP machine, and I've had no issues whatsoever.

Could it be the fact that it's formatted for NTFS, or because of its large size?

Please help! :)

Thanks!

Well, I took the advice everyone else was given regarding NTFS drives, and I installed MacFuse + NTFS-3G, and my problems seem to have been solved! Thanks anyways haha

Double edit: Looks like I spoke to soon. Just happened a couple of times. Please help
