Caps18
This isn't a huge problem, my computer works good at 1024x768. And on my Gateway laptop, 1024x768 is the highest resolution I can get. My issue I would lke to improve is, I use an external monitor that supports 1920x1080. I don't need to get that high of a resolution to be happy, but I would like to get 1280x1024. The issue is that my laptop has the Intel 855 chip, which some info is discussed here: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=12207 The second is, in the system preferencs, it looks like it only thinks there is one resolution that i can use. I have tried to type in the "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32@60" at startup, but that didn't seem to fix it. And I hesitate to edit the plist file in case it will break it. Thanks for the help, almost everything else works great. (The only thing I had to work around is I currently use a WAP54G access point connected with an ethernet cable to get on the wireless network) Hopefully it will be a simple fix, but I've only been testing this out for less than a week.
