Tamed G
Hi all, I am super close to getting a great quad boot setup on my Dell XPS M1530 laptop but my bootloaders keep cancelling each other out, My disk setup is... (0,1) Vista Home Premium - NTFS (0,2) Ubuntu - EXT3 (0,3) Windows 7 Beta - NTFS (0,4) Leopard 10.5.7 (Iatkos) - Mac Journaled Every time I use the Chameleon 2 installer on the Iatkos disk it muffs up the MBR for the windows installations, so I go into diskpart on the windows startup disk, set partition 0,1 active, reboot and /fixmbr to get windows fixed, but then when I set 0,4 back to ACTIVE again the chameleon bootloader won't start up, I just get a flashing curser in the top left of the screen. How do I install chameleon 2 without it messing up the windows MBR - and also how do I get chameleon to recognize the Ubuntu install on 0,2 so I can choose to boot that also? Thanks for any help, I'm very new to this bootloader stuff.
