qennster
Hey all, With boot-132, if I use a modded iso for one board on another motherboard with the same chip-sets (LAN, audio, north and south bridge) will it work? Here is my situation: I have found guides for the BIOSTAR G31-M7 TE LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard but the board has been deactivated by Newegg.com ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...2E16813138125R). The replacement board looks like the BIOSTAR G31D-M7 LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard – Retail (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138142). Comparing the two, it looks like all the chip-sets are same. It seems that the newer boards G31D-M7 has less ports. (SATA, expansion slots, ect.) Could I use the guides for installing OSX on the BIOSTAR G31-M7 TE to install on the G31D-M7 or is there more to it than that? Qenn More than likely, if the new board is using the same nic, audio, video etc. you should be able to use the same boot-132 disk as the previous one.
