My laptop: http://support.gateway.com/s/Mobile/2007/T...14770Rsp2.shtml SSE, SSE2, SSE3 distro: iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 when booting I get to this exact apple screen, with the box and circle with line through it. The spining thing remains spinning. when booting with "-v" It stops at.. Apple ATIATAD:ATI IXP6000 SATA itunesphonedriver has no explicit kernel dependency, using version 6.0 Still waiting for root device Still waiting for root device Still waiting for root device etc.. sorry if wrong section. PCI: BEV Realtek boot agent Not sure if that's important though. PCI: BEV Realtek boot agent Not sure if that's important though. Pure & Simple, the drive chipset your laptop uses is not compatible with that specific distro of OSX86. Your laptop specs are similar to mine so I'd recommend trying iAtkos v7, you should have better luck booting and installing.
