I am attempting to install the IPC 10.5.6 version of OSx86 with voodoo 9.5 but I cannot get beyond the dark gray screen with the spinning mouse pointer during install. After the gray screen appears, the DVD stops reading and the computer just sits. My system is: AMD Phenom II X4 810 AM3, 8 GB OCZ Gold AM3 memory, Jetway HA08 LS motherboard, Sapphire HD 4850 512 Mb vid card, 2X WD5000SBYS-01TNA0 500GB Western Digital Black HD, 2X WD10EACS-00ZJB0 1TB Western Digital Green HD, LG GSA-H55L DVDR, M-Audio Audiophile 2496 The -v prompt final screen before I get the gray screen is: Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know my system is pretty unusual but perhaps the boot up screen will give someone a clue. alex-nord-star Posted July 18, 2009 Share Posted July 18, 2009 my guess is that your version of Leopard doesn't support your motherboard or your CPU. i recommend using iDeneb 1.4 . it worked almost perfect on my system ( the only thing was that it doesn't have audio drivers for my sound card ).
