Hi folks,

First post here.

I have a triple boot working smooth, Win7 + Leopard + Linux Mint (variation of ubuntu)

It loads GRUB when I boot my box but I want it to be Chameleon instead.

I tried to copy grub to my linux partition with grub-install then boot on Leopard and reinstall Chameleon with no success.

Still GRUB loads...no matter what I do I can't remove GRUB.

So how would I revert back to chameleon and leave GRUB only on Linux partition???

thanks!

You need to make sure you're installing chameleon to your MBR (assuming you're using an MBR scheme. I think you need to to do that triple boot, but maybe I'm wrong.) If you have one MBR disk and one GPT disk, install it to the MBR and make the MBR disk bootable.

I don't have too much experience installing chameleon, so I'm not sure how to change the install location. Someone else will have to help with that.

If you have installed Chameleon on the OSX partition you then need to set the OSX partition as active. You can do this by entering in terminal:

fdisk -e /dev/rdisk
flag 1
quit
reboot

Thanks for the reply.

I've installed Chameleon using the PKG installer and yes, the OSX partition is active.

Don't know why GRUB still loading...

Try searching in Google : "remove grub" I don't feel like copying it.

I did it.

I followed every freakin tutorial.

I even copied Grub loader to Linux partition like removing from MBR (using grub-install)

Nothing happened.

Can someone help instead of asking to search Google ? (which is of course the first thing you do and as a last resource you come here to this forum).

thanks
