D945GCL 10.5.6

Hi All, Just finished my retail install on my D945GCL with 10.5.6. I realize this is more of a sketch. Post or PM if U have any questions.

 

install on D945GCL

 

-Boot Grub-dfe (search for grub dfe)

-boot OS X retail

-format GUID

-install

-boot grub-dfe

-point to install (80)

-create account

-install update

-boot grub-dfe(with -v so U can see when update install)

-boot grub-dfe again

-boot updated OS

-install Chameleon 2 (search for Chameleon OSx86)

-copy grub-dfe files (buried in disk image, dsmos.kext, IntelCPUPMDdisabler.kext & SMBIOS.kext) over to Chameleon Extras/Extensions

-Should be able to boot freestanding.

-put Apple02Audio, AppleAC97Audio, AppleHDA, into S/L/E using kextHelper

-Drag the IONetworkingFamily.kext (from S/L/E) out onto the desktop (& backup), remove all plugins except the Intel8255x, open the Intel8255x.kext and remove all the other device IDs and put in x010948086 (or change an existing), save, put in Extra/Extensions folder. Put the HaltRestart kext in there to.

-*******back up and delete the AppleHPET.kext **************** from the S/L/E folder

 

 

My video card is an x1800xt 512 megs. Works great. I put my device ID in the ATIRAdeonX1000.kext and use the ATY1900injector (from IPC disk).
