Amacx86
...so it's happened twice now; when I reset to restart, the machine hangs. Any suggestions to avoid a reinstall? Amacx86
which hw? which kernel? post a picture of the kp Hi, It's the voodoo 9.5 kernal from iDeneb 1.4 (10.5.6). I ended up hitting the reset switch this AM after the kernal panic and lost the ability to take a picture. I tried restarting a couple of different ways: -v -f, -v -x, -v -f -x, and with the install DVD in the drive. None seemed to help, so I reinstalled. Now, I'm going to be a bit more careful with this install. Neither BOINC nor the netkas 4850 radeon drivers are going to go on here for a bit. I'm just going to run with this setup for a while to see if it'll last a few weeks. I find it hard to believe that a single error would bugger the whole install, but that's what seemed to have happend.
