First time poster, so, please, go easy!

I've just finished building my Hackintosh (thanks to the excellent guides you have all posted, much appreciated!) and I've just come to do a Software Update and it all goes fine. Upon restarting though, it will boot up but suddenly it'll show a grey screen and all I can see are pixelated lines whenever I move the mouse or touch a key.

What is the issue here? Is it graphics related?

Many thanks!

Forgot the specs:

Asus P5Q-E Motherboard

Q8200 Quad Core chip

4GB Ram

SATA 750GB WD drive

Asus 4850 Graphics Card

Just an update:

Typing in '-v' brings up a lot of messages and then I get a static page of text which I can't read.

However, booting in safe mode (-x) it runs fine and I can't seem to find the problem!

HELP!

Another update!: DOES HAS NOW BEEN SOLVED!

Asus graphics card required an update, which can be found here if you should so have one:
