Do you have a USB flash drive or HD? Dell Mini 9 USB OS X Install Guide is a quick and easy to use. I did it on mine and it worked well.

Also, what size SSD do you have in your Mini 9? If it's 16GB+ you're in good shape. If it's 8GB, well you're going to have to do a little script work to modify the OS X installer (fairly easy to do; there is a guide available for this as well). If you have a 4GB SSD, then my only advice to you is upgrade the SSD

If you have any other questions, just let me know.

Hey thanks for the reply.

It's a 16gb, good news got it installed! Now I just need the drivers. Do you or anyone else know where I can find some drivers for it??

Thanks for all your help!

If by drivers you mean the special kexts, you don't need those. Everything is included in the guide. Just be sure to follow all the steps and download the program "DellEFI" from the site with the install guide. After you're finished the installation, you'll run DellEFI on your Mini 9, and that program will install the Chameleon v2 bootloader and all the special kexts necessary.

I did that and now I am stuck with a loop @ the boot... I reinstalled and un-checked the bootloader but then I get kernal panic at the spinning wheel, I don't know what to do.. Should I un-check everything at the customize screen when I go to install? then just install what DellEFI has?

Thanks for the help!

Ok, just to be sure we're on the same page here:

1) Did you install OS X in the manner described in the above guide? Did it succeed or fail at the end? Did you run "postinstall" from Terminal after the installation succeeded or failed, but before you rebooted?

2) Following the install were you ever able to boot into OS X? If yes, did you run DellEFI with the Custom settings dictated in the guide, step 8?

Did all of the above things, describe exactly what happened after installing DellEFI with the Custom settings. Also, did you install OS X on a GUID partition or MBR? Oh, and by the way did you use a Retail Install (if so, what version) or one of the released distros (iDeneb, iPC, etc)?
