d_p3ngu1n
I'm currently in the middle of a long overdue computer build and have began to gather parts and pieces for my next computer. My question is not about the hardware however, but the OS that the hardware will inevitably run. I was originally planning to install a retail copy of leopard onto the system, however, with the advent of Snow Leopard I have become hesitant. I am wondering if it is at all possible to install a retail copy of the snow leopard upgrade over a iAtkos Leopard install and have the hackintosh receive updates as any legitimate Mac would. Any thoughts or insight into this would be appreciated. I understand that Snow Leopard is still in development and that it may prove impossible for anyone to find an answer to this at the current time. The difference in price would be $29 for the Snow Leopard upgrade compared to whatever the full retail version will sell for.
