mintyfresh94 Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 ive been trying to install mac osx on my msi 1651 laptop. Ive tried all the different distros...but they all freeze when booting into them to install. Ive tried -v and -x but that doesnt work either. So then i tried "cpus=1 -v" to try and boot with 1 core...and it worked and i installed it with ipc 10.5.6. .... But after installing whenever i reboot it freezes again!! Then, when you're prompted for a reboot from HDD, just type "-v -f " in bootflags. Note: " -f " only required ONCE after each re-install to re-built Extensions.mkext (~ "Windows registry" ). After your hackintosh PC booted successfully, subsequent reboots do not require the " -f " option.
