Jameslock
Hi All, I have installed iDeneb v1.3 (10.5.5) on my rebranded clevo m570tu and it was running fine until recently. Sometimes during boot it will fail to a black screen after booting with -v. So to remedy i hold power button to reset BUT the system wont reboot after shutting down. When i hold the power button to turn on it just flashes the power led twice and then stops (presumably an error code). To fix i have to do some of the following combination: pull battery / pull one stick of RAM / tap the power button a few times which almost starts (power led and wifi led come on for a few seconds then turn off!). Eventually i can get it to boot, but without a batter and only 2 GB of RAM. I can then shutdown, replace the RAM (and sometimes battery) then boot into OSX / windows 7 fine. Until randomly OSX boot fails and i do above all over again!! Does anyone know what might be happening?? I have machine specs below. Could this be related to EFI / BIOS of the laptop??
