Gipedo Posted July 12, 2009 Share Posted July 12, 2009 I recently installed OS X on my Inspiron E1505 and have been pretty satisfied with the results. I mainly installed it so I could use the newest Garage Band edition in iLife 09. My internal speakers work fine and I am able to record audio via my line-in jack but when I plug in headphones or speakers into the microphone jack the sound cuts from the speakers and is identified as headphones but I am unable to hear anything through either. When playing a song I will hear audio for a split second within the headphones before it cuts out completely. Anyone out here have any idea how to fix this?
