I have a HP Pavilion DV5 with a Optiarc AD-7561S DVD Drive and found no fix for it, so i can’t install MACOS x86 because of the loop at “Still waiting for root device”. Does anyone knows or can provide a solution?! Mywk Posted July 12, 2009 Author Share Posted July 12, 2009 Bump, or i will never find out a fix* An alternative way could be installing from pen but if i just copy all file to pen i get a BOOTSECT error while booting.
