threeheadedmonkey
Hey there.Im trying to install windows xp sp3 on mac via bootcamp.Im creating a 20gb space for windows partition and then i put the windows xp cd to begin the installation. The aluminum macbook restarts and puts me on the classic DOS blue screen. Then i choose the BOOTCAMP partition and then "format partition using the Windows NTFS format(quick)".Then i wait while setup formats the partition and when it goes to 100% the mac restarts again. The problem is that the mac returns to osx and im not able to continue the windows instalation.I searched a lot but i didnt find someone with the same issue. What should i do?(the macbook is updated) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/174537-cant-install-bootcamp/ Share on other sites
TheAppleFreak
Did you try to hold down the option key while the Mac rebooted? That shows you all of the available bootable devices; your Windows partition should be there.
