i did something similar with my p105-s6197 with t5200. I flashed to latest p105-s9337 bios then swapped t5200 to t7200.

just use a bios from toshiba p105 model that supports t7400, and has same size screen, same chipset (graphics/video, sound, network). google p105 + t7400. there were only 3 different boards in the 17" p105, the one that has nvidia graphics,the intel gma945, and the gma3100. i don't believe it is possible to swap bios for any p105 with gma3100 graphics. if it flashing bios does not work on the first try, you will end up with a doorstop. good luck.

 

P.S.

make sure you put the computer back together exactly the way it came apart or screen won't turn on, I know from personal experience.
