Mymlan Posted July 10, 2009 Share Posted July 10, 2009 Hey InsanelyMac! This is my first post here, and I've not really had a chance to get a good look around. I've only just recently heard about the OSx86 project and am dying to try it out myself. I've been running an ancient 1.4GHz G4 Powermac and a 2.4 MBP for the past few years. Unfortunately, they're beginning to bog down on all the latest games. Being a gamer, it's time for me to step up to the plate and get a new machine. I've been perusing Newegg and it looks like I'm going to be moving to AMD architecture. In short, I have here a laundry list of the parts I'm looking at. I'm going to be out for the afternoon, and when I return I'll study up on the OSx86 project. In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone could briefly tell me if there's any chance I could get these to work on any post 10.4 system. -AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition -Asus M4A79T -Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 2GB (Vapor-X) Thanks for any advice/assistance!
